Green Street Poetry is an organization dedicated to fostering a rich, diverse, accessible community of writers that allows us to create and grow together. Our mission is to invigorate the local writing community and the artists within it, create a vibrant environment friendly to all voices, and most importantly - bring poets together.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Green Street has struggled to carry out our core mission - to bring poets together. Despite that, we have found new and exciting ways to stay connected, including a virtual open mic series in partnership with Toho Publishing.
